Double glazing

Double glazing - is the foundation of the plastic window. To it must meet certain requirements. Double-glazed windows are single-chamber, dual chamber and three-compartment. Single-chamber glass consists of two panes separated by a distance of 12 or 16 mm apart. The glass may have a thickness of 4, 5 or 6 mm. Triple-pane windows needed for heat and sound insulation. It consists of three panes. To solve the problems with noise isolation distance between the plates is different, it can suppress noise. Three-chambered glass consists of four glasses. Its installed in areas with very harsh climate, to keep warm. Probably the only advantage of three-chamber glass. In general, it consists of some shortcomings. Firstly, it gives considerable weight, because of which the window has to make lots of small panes, and secondly four glasses poorly reflect light well, and - third - it's certainly a high price. The quality of glass depends on the type of glass. There are four types of glass. This energy-saving glass, tempered glass, laminated glass and a reflex. Energy-saving glass has a special coating that reflects infrared light. This glass keeps heat insulation windows. Glass can be a hard and soft cover. Soft cover is not resistant to moisture, solid coating such as a lack of does not. Glasses have a very thin coating, so the transparency of the windows are not affected. Tempered glass is further heat treated to be stronger. Such glass is better to establish where there are increased security requirements, such as verandas. Triplex - a laminated glass, which can even be bulletproof. When you hit the glass breaks, but the fragments are concatenated by a special film of resin. Laminated glass has a high sound insulation. Reflex glass protects the building from ultraviolet radiation provided by a coating of metal oxides.
